Debra began her passion for photographing people as a music photographer in 1999. She has worked with many of the top musical talents including Belle and Sebastian, The Polyphonic Spree, and Cat Power. She was the Photo Editor at DIW Magazine, and her work has appeared in numerous magazines including Rolling Stone, Mojo, Entertainment Weekly, and the San Francisco Chronicle.

Debra's photography is characterized by its spontaneous ability to capture the personalities of its subjects in their most revealing moments. She cultivates such a style through a relaxed, low-pressure approach and through her charming ability to engage and create an unobtrusive rapport with her clients.

Debra is a member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA) and the Professional Photographers of America (PPA).
